why shouldn't we celebrate Independence Day

It is July 4th, Independence Day, the day our founding fathers declared independence from the tyranny of King George III of England. Why shouldn't we celebrate July 4? Doesn't Jesus said to "Love our enemies"? I mean King George III was our enemy and we are suppose to love him and pray for him. Taxing our tea doesn't mean we have to rebel and declare independence. We should've remain as a British colony and become a parliament monarchy like Canada. We could've been more civilized and less rebellious.

But we did rebel and declare independence, God did bless our founding fathers for this and we should celebrate and bless him for our freedom, but look what's happening today. We are now America: Babylon the Great (Revelation 14:8 and 17:5) because of abortion, murder, and rape (Revelation 17:6), pornography, money and materialism (Revelation 17:4). As result, we forget about Him and now America will face God's wrath in the tribulation, which I will explain more why America is Babylon Great in another time.

Even though we are Americans and to love our freedom, we are Heavenly Citizens (Philippians 3:20). The question is: Would you either live for Christ or for your freedom?

You would say "We'll I would live for both.", but you would forget about God's love and His Son who died on the cross for your sins and instead love for materialism and other things.

If you have not accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, please pray these words:

Lord Jesus,

I am a sinner and in need of your forgiveness. I believe you died on the cross as an atonement for my sins. I now accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart, Lord Jesus.

If you prayed that prayer, you are a new creation. The next steps for your walk with Christ Jesus is get into a good bible-based church, a baptist church is recommended. Read the bible (King James is recommended) to get to know The Lord better, spread the word about Christ to others so that they can get saved.

God bless.
