Chagas: Worse Deadly disease than AIDS

Chagas, a parasitic disease that spreads from a Kissing Bug Bite. It is the worse deadly disease far deadly than AIDS. This deadly outbreak of Chagas have infected and killed over 20,000,000 people in Central and South America. In the US, over 300,000 people have been infected with this deadly parasitic disease. 

When a kissing bug bites the victim, a parasite bacteria called Trypanosoma cruzi enter the bloodsteam and starts multiplying with in the blood cells. The bacteria will then go into the internal organs. This can cause kidney and liver failure, Cardiac Arrest, blindness, etc. The good news is, it's not transmitted from person to person even through sexual intercourse. However, if a pregnant woman was infected with Chagas, she would have a miscarriage as this disease is transmitted from mother to child. Blood banks now reported that the blood is now infected with the disease.

Best Prevention against this disease is:

1. Always have mosquito nets on decks, patios, RVs, or tents.

2. Make sure your windows are we'll covered with undamaged screens to prevent bugs from getting into your home.

3. Protect you and your child with bug repellants.
